Meet the Team

  • Coach Sean Gallagher

    Experience:
    A former All-State catcher and Division I athlete at New Mexico State, Coach Sean has coached since 1996. He founded Playball Prospects and the Gashouse Gang and now brings decades of competitive experience and leadership to Gashouse Nation fastpitch tournaments.

    Highlights:
    3× Southern Cascade League Coach of the Year, Oregon Baseball Coach of the Year, State Championship coach, and Golden State Collegiate Coach of the Year.

    Expertise:
    Game strategy, hitting mechanics, defensive fundamentals, athlete development, and competitive performance.

    Tournament Philosophy:
    Coach Sean believes great competition develops great athletes. Gashouse Nation tournaments are built to challenge fastpitch players, build confidence, showcase talent, and create an elite competitive environment where athletes can perform, grow, and succeed.

  • Coach Jen Mendenhall

    Experience:
    A lifelong pitcher, Coach Mendenhall was a four-time All-Conference athlete and State MVP before earning a full scholarship to the University of New Mexico. With 15+ years of coaching experience, she brings an extensive fastpitch and performance background to Gashouse Nation tournaments.

    Expertise:
    Pitching, game awareness, body mechanics, athlete development, and performance science.

    Tournament Philosophy:
    Coach Mendenhall believes competition is one of the best tools for athlete development. Gashouse Nation tournaments give fastpitch players the opportunity to compete against strong competition, test their skills under pressure, make in-game adjustments, and become more confident, self-reliant athletes.

  • Coach Tre'Von Dorsey

    Experience:
    Coach Dorsey is a former collegiate and travel ball player and four-year varsity letterman. He brings his competitive experience and leadership background to Gashouse Nation fastpitch tournaments.

    Athlete mentorship, game awareness, confidence, and competitive development.

    Tournament Philosophy:
    Coach Dorsey believes athletes perform their best when they compete with confidence, energy, and purpose. At Gashouse Nation events, he helps create a positive, competitive environment where fastpitch athletes can challenge themselves, showcase their abilities, and develop the confidence to perform under pressure.
